A practical guide to the "Product Audit" tab: what each item checks, how to quickly find problematic cards, and how to fix them in bulk.

What it is and why it matters for business

Product audit helps regularly identify critical catalog issues: products without a storefront, without a category, without photos, with a zero price, and other risky items. This directly affects product visibility, conversion, and the quality of advertising feeds.

Audit criteria: what each item means

  • Products without a storefront (invisible) — products that are not displayed on the store's showcase and do not participate in sales.
  • Products without categories — cards not linked to a category, making them difficult for customers to find in the catalog.
  • Duplicates by name — products with identical or very similar names that create confusion and "blur" analytics.
  • Duplicates by model — items with the same model/SKU, often indicating a duplicate card.
  • No photo — products without a main image.
  • No name — cards with an empty or incorrect name.
  • Price 0.00 — products without a sale price.

Buttons in the audit window

  • GENERATE — initiates a check by the selected criterion and generates a list of problematic products.
  • Checkbox in the table header — select/deselect all products in the list.
  • Pencil in the product row — open editing of a specific card.
  • Link to store — bulk links selected products to the main storefront (relevant for the "without storefront" scenario).
  • Delete selected — initiates bulk deletion of selected products (use with caution).
  • Close — close the modal window without performing actions.

How to use: step by step

  1. Open "Product Audit" in the products section.
  2. Select a check criterion from the list.
  3. Click "GENERATE".
  4. Review the found products and highlight those that need fixing.
  5. Take action: open the product, link to the store, or delete erroneous duplicates.
  6. Repeat the audit for the next criterion to comprehensively address issues.

Recommended weekly scenario

  1. First: "No photo" and "Price 0.00" (these are the most critical for sales and advertising).
  2. Then: "Products without categories" and "Products without a storefront".
  3. After that: check for duplicates and clean up unnecessary cards.
  4. Finally: re-run the audit to control the result.
