Import preparation (CSV, Excel, XML, YML)
Full data preparation process before import: source analysis, field mapping, preview check, and saving the profile for repeated runs.
Important: in preparation mode, you do not change products in the store, you only prepare and verify data.
What can be done in this mode
- Download source from file or URL/API.
- Map columns to product system fields.
- Check and edit data in the preview.
- Save the settings profile for reuse.
2. Step-by-step scenario
- Select a project and source type.
- Start source analysis.
- Set the mapping of key fields, primarily SKU.
- Check the preview and fix anomalies.
- Save the profile before proceeding to import.
3. Minimum required fields
SKU -> unique identifier Title -> product name Price -> current price
- SKU is required for correct update without duplication.
- The title should be readable and without service noise.
- Price in a single number format.
4. Common errors
- SKU not specified.
- Incorrect price format or empty critical fields.
- Profile not saved after mapping change.
